曾经有着“六本木之王”称号的王牌牛郎七濑公平（佐佐木藏之介 饰），在与最爱的女人桃子（原沙知絵 饰）相遇后决定金盆洗手，组建家庭，回归普通男人的生活。谁知造物弄人，突如其来的裁员让他跌入谷底。为了维持好不容易得到的家庭，公平只得重操旧业。不过此时据他上一次“坐台”早已过了十个年头，牛郎界风云迭起，城头变幻大王旗，况且将近不惑之年人老珠黄，他还能否重新搏得生机？此外更有各方势力蠢蠢欲动，让本就十分复杂的牛郎行当变得更加浑浊不清，危机四伏。“男人真命苦”古今通用，但为了家人，为了让孤独的人感受到快乐和幸福，公平义无返顾地冲向牛郎最前线…… 本片根据泷直毅（原作）、土田世纪（作画）的漫画原作改编。This series depicts the life of a married man Nanase Kohei after he returned to his former job as a male host. He woos the clients with his gentle and caring nature, and soon retrieves his former credit as the ace of the club. However, the transition back for this middle-aged man is not without its challenges. Afraid that his wife will find out about this job, Nanase is also garnering jealousy and displeasure from the younger hosts. Throughout the course of his employment, he demonstrates to others that hosting should not be the vulgar occupation it has become where the entire goal is to make the women frivolously spend money, rather, it is about a human connection that is so often overlooked.
