在1977年的夏天，每年日本下关都会跟韩国的釜山交替召开田径大会。远藤郁子（水谷妃里 饰是长府高中的学生，这年她会作为下关选手出席在釜山的运动会上。就在这里，她遇到了同样是跳高运动员的釜山学生安大豪（淳评 饰）。两人都对彼此有了倾慕之情，纵使纪律严明，但安大豪还是跟郁子约定在明年的七夕这一天再次见面。 那时候并没有高科技的通讯设备，天涯相隔的两人面临了感情道路上的坎坷，郁子身边的好友极力相助，这对日韩情侣会如何继续恋情呢？Two young athletes from two different countries meet and fall in love. As the time is arriving when they need to return to their respective homes they promise one another to reunite in the name of their love. Life includes prejudice, xenophobia, studies, distance and family however and obstacle after obstacle arises.
