清朝末期，清政府由于闭关锁国导致经济衰退。黄飞鸿因民族大义、家国情怀而错过与十三姨的婚事，导致十三姨心灰意冷出走上海。黄飞鸿为了寻回十三姨加上找回丢失的墨龙图也随后前往上海。十三姨来到上海投奔了自己的外国同学皮特，多年来皮特一直对十三姨心存爱意，对十三姨的到来十分的开心。但十三姨心中还是惦记着黄飞鸿。而在寻找墨龙图的过程中，黄飞鸿陷入黑帮纷争，遭人陷害不幸入狱...In the late Qing Dynasty, the economy in China has been in decline since the government secluded the country from the outside. Wong Fei-hung misses his own wedding to Thirteenth Aunt because of a matter of national interest, which makes Thirteenth Aunt leave for Shanghai in despair. To get his lover back and find the lost \"Painting of Ink Dragon\", Wong Fei-hung heads for Shanghai, too. Upon arrival in the big city, Thirteenth Aunt goes to her foreign classmate Pete for shelter, who has had a crush on her for many years and is very happy to see her again, but she just can't get over Wong Fei-hung. While looking for the precious painting, Wong Fei-hung gets involved in a dispute between rival gangs and is put in prison after being framed.
